Sisi Meng is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Florida International University. Her research interests include the areas of environmental and natural resource economics, economic impact of natural disaster, and climate change. Her dissertation focuses on the economic aspects of natural hazard risks and mitigation.Before joining the Ph.D program, she earned a M.S. degree in Economics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011 and a B.S degree in International Trade and Business from Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing, China.
